It is the mission of the Student Jazz Association to develop andpromote jazz activities and programs on the BGSU campus andthroughout northwest Ohio. The goals of the SJA shall be achievedthrough various activities, such as promoting jazz events andcreating greater awareness of jazz programs; developingperformance opportunities for jazz musicians; advocating jazzeducation programs; hosting guest artists; and engaging infundraising activities (in support of the preceding). It isthrough such endeavor that the SJA will work to build a greaterjazz community in Bowling Green.
