The Institute for the Study of Culture and Society (ICS) supports research and creativework in traditional disciplines within the humanities, arts, and social sciences; inestablished interdisciplines (e.g., women's studies, cultural studies, environmentalstudies); and in newly emerging fields of inquiry (e.g., biopolitics, posthumanities, newmedia studies).
